Advanced Mixed Chorus* - Advanced Mixed Chorus members are selected through auditions and director recommendations. Advanced Mixed Chorus studies and performs music of various styles and periods. American Red Cross - Shiloh High School will sponsor two American Red Cross Blood Drives this year, in December and in March. We have also been involved in American Red Cross Disaster Relief fundraising, most recently for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Student volunteers are needed to help plan and carry out these activities. Meeting Times: 2:20pm - 3:00pm as needed.

Armed and Unarmed Drill Team* - Cadets polish basic marching skills learned in the
classroom and often perform in parades and drill meets using M-1 rifles and West Point Sabers. Participation can lead to a co-curricular service ribbons and a citation cord. The Saber Team is composed of Armed Drill Team Members. Team Performances can lead to a co-curricular service ribbon or a specialized. Meeting Times: 2:30pm – 4:00pm, Tuesday & Thursday, year round. Art Club - Inspire and recognize those students who have shown outstanding interest in the visual arts, foster excellence and a dedicated spirit to the pursuit of art, further the creative abilities, talents, and interest of the club’s members, assist members in working toward the attainment of their highest potential in the visual arts, bring art to the attention of the school and community, increase an awareness of art in relation to other areas of the school curriculum, further aesthetic awareness in all aspects of the school’s total program. Beta Club - We are a chapter of the National Beta Club. The purpose of the organization is to promote the values of leadership, scholarship and service to the school and community. Members are invited to join as sophomores if they have a 90.0 cumulative GPA. Service hours (5 service credits per semester- 4 of which must be done with the club; projects will be offered at each meeting), one individual 5 hour project-for a total of 15 service hours per academic year. We participate in a variety of projects such as Samaritans Purse, Festival of Trees and Annistown Fall Carnival, peer tutoring and mentoring. Many service opportunities present themselves throughout the year. Meeting Times: Once a month on Thursday, dates are listed in the Agenda Book. Beta Club – Sophomore A local chapter of the National Beta Club, a student-centered, organization which promotes the ideals of character, achievement, service, and leadership in our school and community. Our motto is, Ducamus aliis serviendo "Let us lead by serving others". Meeting Times: One Thursday per month2:30pm-3:30pm. Financial Obligations: $23.00 Annual Dues. Color Guard* - Presents, posts, retires, raises and lowers the United States Flag at many school and community functions. Participation can lead to a co-curricular service ribbon and citation cord. Competition Choir - Competition Choir members are selected through auditions. This after school chorus provides further musical study and additional performance opportunities. Meeting Times: Tuesdays, 2:20pm -3:50pm. Financial Obligations: Responsible for concert attire and $5 participation fee per semester. Faculty Advisor(s): Craig Johnson
Concert Band* - The concert band performs Level III/IV music. Meeting Times: During class, extra rehearsals as needed; 1 festival and 1 concert per year. Financial Obligations: $35 and Responsible for required concert attire. Faculty Advisor(s): B. D. Alexander
Symphonic Band* - The Symphonic Band performs Level IV/V music. Meeting Times: During class, M, Th, 2:30- 4:45, extra rehearsals as needed; 1 festival and Several concerts per year. Financial Obligations: $35 and Responsible for required concert attire. Faculty Advisor(s):B. D. Alexander
Jazz Band* - The Jazz band performs Standards and contemporary charts. Meeting Times: During class, Tu, W 2:30 -4:30 extra rehearsals as needed; 1 festival and 1 concert per year. Financial Obligations: Responsible for required performance attire. Faculty Advisor(s): B. D. Alexander
The Shiloh Marching Brigade* - The marching band performs at all Varsity Football Games and performs at Parades and other Community Functions. Meeting Times: Practice once week during the Spring and the two weeks before school starts and during football season; During class, M, Tu, W, Th 2:30pm. – 5:30pm. Financial Obligations: $325.00 (includes uniform)

Silver Lining Dance Line – For ladies interested in learning to perform dance routines featured during the half-time show at football games and all other functions of Marching Band. Meeting Times: Auditions are held in the Spring. Practice once a week during the Spring and the two weeks before school starts and during football season M, Tu, W, Th 2:30pm. – 5:30pm Financial Obligations: approx. $400.00.
